About Me

I have been a certified English teacher since 2016. I earned my master’s degree in English with a writing focus from Rutgers University and my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Hofstra University. Prior to earning my teacher certification, I was a visiting writing teacher in public schools as a teaching artist with Morris Arts. I have also worked in publishing as a writer and editor. In addition to teaching, I am the director of Girls Surviving, a writing and performance program for teenage girls in Morristown, New Jersey. I post about teaching on Instagram @gooddaywriting and post author talks and other content on my YouTube channel.
